Hairstyles We Love on Denver’s Top TV Personalities

Local News Personalities have an important job. Not only do they have to report the local and world news, weather and sports, but they have to look good in the process. Every aspect of their look is being scrutinized on a daily basis, each time they go on air.

It’s a lot of pressure to live up to. Hair is also a major part of this image. News anchors and meteorologists get emails and letters all the time either complimenting or criticizing their look, but luckily many of those fans are quite complimentary, especially about how their hair looks. Having fabulous hair is a must-have on live television. In the Denver area, two of our favorite anchors with hairstyles we love are Katie LaSalle of Denver 7 ABC and Lauren Whitney of CBS 4. Both of these ladies have gorgeous hair that always looks its best with effortless style.

Lauren Whitney’s Bright Outlook Matches Her Hair

Lauren Whitney is a CBS 4 meteorologist with bright blonde hair. Her glorious locks match her sunny personality in every way. She’s been a positive addition to the station since 2011, starting with the morning news, but recently moved to the evening hours in 2016. One of the first things you notice about her other than her high wattage smile is her hair. Gorgeously smooth with just the right wave to it, her tresses frame her face in just the right way. Long hair is one of her best features, which runs down way past her collarbone.

As a proud graduate of Arizona State University, she learned to protect her hair from the harsh heat of the desert sun, so you can tell she treats her hair right. It always looks like it’s well conditioned and in great shape. Not only does she have amazing hair, but her heart is always in the right place. She devotes much of her free time to charity work, including the upcoming “Girls and Science Event” that she’s hosting at the Denver Museum of Nature and Science.

 Katie LaSalle’s Smooth Blond Waves

This news anchor and meteorologist knows great hair. Katie LaSalle’s blond waves are carefully coiffed in a casual, yet very professional manner. Her color is sparkling champagne with just a few lowlights for added depth. You can see this is a gal that takes great care of her tresses. They always look perfectly conditioned and silky soft. Her style is a deep side part with gentle cascading waves that always look just right.

In her free time she throws her hair up in a top knot, so she can participate in some of her favorite outdoor activities, like hiking in the mountains of Colorado, skiing, and this brave beauty has even been sky diving.

Although she’s relatively new to the 7 ABC team, she’s made herself right at home in the Denver area having graduated from the University of Colorado in Boulder. Her broadcasting career really took off in Oregon, but luckily Denver was able to get her to come to their station in March of 2016. Now you can see her nightly on the broadcast as a First Alert Weather Forecaster.
